Flags are a symbol of Memorial Day

Flags are out in Canal Place Subdivision in Lake Charles LA

Memorial Day weekend historically marks what begins a summer vacation for school kids and teachers.

Memorial Day is a weekend set aside to remember those who have left us too soon, namely those who served our country in the Armed Forces.

A large flag along with flags of each branch of the serve can be found flying year round in Veterans Memorial Park in Lake Charles, LA.

Your Memorial Day weekend may consist of a Family Barbeque, Boating on the Lake or other activities.  Don't forget those who have bravely served our country.  If you have a flag fly it proudly, there will be lot of red, white and blue stars and stripes displayed over the weekend!
