Lagniappe Living in Lake Charles, Louisiana: Fall in Canal Place, Lake Charles, LA

Fall in Canal Place, Lake Charles, LA

Yesterday was the first day of Fall and from the looks of the Canal Place subdivision, residents are getting in the spirit with Fall decorations in the hopes that cooler temperatures will arrive soon!

I took a break and spent the afternoon getting the Boudreaux home decorated.  All I need now are a few orange pumpkins and some Fall mums to add to the front porch to make our Fall welcome complete!

Love the changes of the season.  I enjoy seeing the decorations change as well.  Gets you in the mood for cooler temps.  We could use them!

Oh, sure, make me feel bad for not decorating, yet, LOL.  We can't put real pumpkins out - the javelinas LOVE them.

Marilyn, Those are really well spirited and tastefully decorated door fronts. I guess I've got to decorate today.

I just can't get excited about fall yet, other than tailgating.  I think October 1 is my "fall" date, and I'll get some decorations out then.  These pictures are lovely and, in fact, inspirational!
