Providence Subdivision in South Lake Charles is being built out very quickly and the finished homes and homes being framed up or under mid-construction go under contract very quickly.  

I recently showed buyers a home they liked on a Saturday afternoon.  They wanted to take the weekend to think about it and finally decided three days later to make an offer.  On the day we submitted our offer, the seller received two other offers!!  Needless to say the seller chose another offer so my buyers had to return to square one.  It was disappointing because the wife had fallen in love with some of the home details that were not found in some of the other new construction homes, especially the wonderful built ins of the master closet!

Take your Realtor's advise when they tell you "this house is going to go fast" or "this house won't last the weekend"!
